The initial equity of the Foundation was provided by its founder and first Chairman, along with further donations, legacies and bequests, including that of the Founder himself. The assets of the Foundation can be differentiated into securities portfolio, loans and equipment, directly applying to beneficiaries and treasury. The assets of the Foundation originate primarily from three different sources: income on equity (dividends and interests due), gifts, legacies and bequests occasionally related to specific purposes, and the beneficiaries’ reimbursements of aids received, which are progressively repaid as agreed. As to those Aid Programs conducted by the Foundation, they basically respond to concepts such as “Refundable Aids” and “Equipment Aids”.
