PURPOSES
Mission and vision
The mission of Fomento de Fundaciones (Fundación Internacional) is to support individuals to undertake educational and professional projects, when these are principally aimed at receiving training outside Spain. Along with providing these individuals with assessment, the Foundation also encourages and provides direct financial support to cultural and social projects while promoting arenas for training and integrating people and cultures.
The Foundation’s objectives include seeking solutions that integrate young professionals into the common task of building a more just and committed society through people, institutions, or means of coexistence. Its values are capacity and initiative, respect for the individual, professional work ethic, and shared responsibility, which translates into the interest in integrating various social agents into its projects. Finally, transparency and austerity complete the values, ensuring precise and efficient resource management and promoting trust and credibility in all its undertakings.
How Fomento de Fundaciones helps
The Foundation grants its assistance in various forms and always through Assistance Programs, primarily under the two headings of “non repayable assistance” and “repayable assistance.” The first are non-repayable grants, fundamentally to acquire equipment and the second take the form of reimbursable loans, since shared responsibility is a central value manifested in the Foundation’s interest in integrating various social agents into its initiatives.
Fomento de Fundaciones offers support to those seeking to expand their educational and professional horizons abroad. It plays a crucial role in promoting cultural and social projects that foster community integration and development beyond our frontiers.
Additionally, as a promoter of other foundations, from the beginning and through agreements, it has centralized the management and administration and the advisory services of different foundations. Among them are those known as belonging to “the Beatriz Building sphere,” and include Fundación Hispánica and Fundación Patronato Universitario.
